Job summary

CAVA, a fast-growing Mediterranean restaurant brand, seeks an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and Area Leader, drive store action plans, and develop hourly Team Members. You will oversee schedules, forecasting, labor, and inventory to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The AGM will lead training, coaching, and performance feedback while upholding standards and contributing to profitability. Competitive pay and robust benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Adapt to changing circumstances and develop solutions for performance.
• Ability to manage financial aspects including budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of legal, health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Willing to work flexible hours (nights/weekends) and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Support General Manager with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards.
• Lead efforts to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and adherence to guidelines.
• Maintain food safety practices and team training on procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks and participate in special projects.
