Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run daily drive-in operations with upbeat teamwork and a focus on guest satisfaction.

You will assist the General Manager, train and support crew, supervise staff, and ensure we deliver quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment.

Candidates should have at least six months of restaurant management experience, be able to work irregular hours, and communicate effectively to motivate the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or similar supervisory role.
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to train and coach staff.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in managing drive-in operations and drive-in restaurant responsibilities.
• Train and support Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops to meet service standards.
• Direct and assign staff to ensure food service meets operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and maintain records as needed.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties and monitor inventory and costs.
