Job summary

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Leader to support the Restaurant Leader in daily operations and uphold Raising Cane’s standards and culture. This role involves a fast-paced kitchen environment, managing hourly crewmembers, and ensuring excellent customer service.

The position requires 3+ years of restaurant/retail management, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k) with match, bonuses and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; analytical mindset.
• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; able to work flexible shifts.
• New restaurant openings experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire and terminate all hourly, non-management crewmembers.
• Own onboarding, status changes and payroll for hourly crewmembers.
• Create crewmember work and training schedules.
• Manage performance, coaching and documentation for hourly staff.
• Act as manager on duty and open/close the restaurant.
• Manage cash handling and ensure accountability.
• Enforce policies and standards; lead shift meetings.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper facility operations.
