Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead restaurant operations alongside the General Manager and Area Leader. You will drive scheduling, forecasting, labor management and inventory while developing hourly Team Members and upholding our standards.

The AGM role emphasizes competency-based leadership and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will partner with leadership to implement action plans, monitor financial metrics, and ensure compliance with food safety and service

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing tasks.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing; address Team Member issues to maintain a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards and addressing concerns promptly.
• Support with financial reporting, sales tracking, and budget adherence.
