Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead restaurant operations, partner with the GM, and drive guest satisfaction. You will manage schedules, training, inventory, and financial performance while upholding CAVA's standards.

This role requires leadership, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset in a fast-paced setting. You will work closely with the GM and Area Leader to implement action plans, coach hourly Team Members, and ensure food safety compliance while delivering

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in restaurant/hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Adapt to changing circumstances and improve restaurant performance.
• Manage financial aspects, including budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of legal, health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Able to adapt to fast-paced environment and solve problems.
• Willing to work nights/weekends and travel as needed.
• Generous and friendly demeanor; punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in daily operations, opening/closing.
• Ensure standards for food, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, supply orders, and cost control.
• Supervise and train Team Members; provide feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing needs.
• Address Team Member issues to keep a positive environment.
• Uphold guest experience and address concerns promptly.
• Support budgeting and financial reporting.
