Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support restaurant operations and drive performance. You will lead important internal functions like Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, while delegating tasks to teams and reporting results.

You will assist the General Manager to achieve high standards in kitchen quality, people management, and service, ensuring a memorable guest experience and safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience leading, motivating and/or developing others.
• Strong customer service mindset and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Delegate tasks to team members and report back results.
• Directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards.
• Oversee Kitchen quality, cost and new menu items, and supervise staff scheduling and training.
• Ensure a memorable guest experience by training staff and coordinating service areas.
