Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support restaurant operations and drive performance. You’ll lead employee training, food safety, and inventory management while reporting results and mentoring team members in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with the General Manager to achieve targets in kitchen, people, and service, ensuring high-quality food, safety, and memorable guest experiences for customers. A passion for service and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED preferred.
• A passion for helping and serving others (customers and team).
• 1+ years’ experience leading, motivating and/or developing others OR US Military Service.
• Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace.
• Strong customer service and support focus.
• Effective communication and anticipation of customer needs; ability to provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Delegate tasks to team members and report results.
• Support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in Kitchen, People, and Service.
• Supervise food quality, safety, cost, and new menu items.
• Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals.
• Ensure staff is trained to deliver memorable guest experiences and organize service areas.
