Job summary

Burger King in Durango, CO seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive profitability, and ensure top-notch guest service in a fast-paced setting.

As the AM, you will support the Restaurant General Manager, supervise 20-45 crew members, coach staff, and ensure brand standards, safety, and cash controls while optimizing guest satisfaction and overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of quick service restaurant experience, management experience preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and profitability influence.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant profitability, guest service, people development, and operations.
• Manage inventory counts, orders, and asset lists.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and vendor coordination.
• Maintain cash controls and security procedures.
• Motivate and direct team to meet guest expectations with fast, friendly service.
• Coach shifts and team members to raise performance and capabilities.
• Direct food prep and delivery within speed of service guidelines and uphold brand standards.
