Job summary

Burger King is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive profitability, and coach a team of 20-45 employees. The AM supports the RGM and oversees guest service quality, inventory, maintenance, and cash controls.

The role focuses on execution of brand standards, development of Shift Coordinators and team members, and ensuring fast, accurate service in a busy quick-service environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management influence profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership and guest service skills.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Lead profitability-focused operations and guest service initiatives.
• Direct and coach shifts Coordinators and Team Members to improve performance.
• Manage inventory, assets, and preventative maintenance in line with company standards.
• Ensure cash control and security procedures are followed (e.g., safe counting, cash drawers).
• Uphold operational and brand standards and direct timely preparation and sale of products.
