Job summary

Dairy Queen (DQ) is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to run a high-volume restaurant with attention to detail, supporting the GM in operations including inventory, scheduling and customer service to create memorable experiences for guests.

You will lead shift teams, ensure food safety and coaching, and implement local store marketing while focusing on profitability and guest satisfaction. Join a team that values hospitality and excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of high-volume restaurant leadership experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
• Must be ServSafe certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, meeting quality, service and atmosphere targets.
• Train shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes, food safety practices and restaurant safety practices.
• Assist in executing the restaurant’s business plan and optimize P&L, labor, inventory and cash controls.
• Ensure Fan service standards are met and address customer concerns promptly.
• Lead hiring, training, coaching and development of staff to build a skilled team.
• Ensure food safety is the top training priority and maintain sanitation and compliance.
