Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to help run a high‑volume restaurant with attention to detail and guest satisfaction. You will assist the GM in coordinating operations, training staff, managing inventory and costs, and sustaining a safe, welcoming environment for customers and employees.

The role emphasizes team leadership, adherence to safety standards, and active involvement in store marketing and financial performance to deliver an exceptional fan experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in high-volume or fast‑food leadership preferred.
• Must be ServSafe certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, ensuring quality, service, and atmosphere.
• Train shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes, and safety procedures.
• Assist GM with business planning, labor, inventory, and cash controls to protect profitability.
• Ensure Fan service standards and promptly address customer concerns to promote return visits.
• Lead hiring, training, and coaching to build a skilled, productive team.
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards across store operations.
• Support local store marketing efforts and promotions to drive customer traffic.
