Brothers Bar and Grill in State College, PA seeks a Restaurant Assistant Manager to work closely with the General Manager. You will oversee front and back of house operations, hire, train, and schedule staff, and ensure high-quality food presentation and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Two years of bartending or serving in full-menu restaurants.
• One year of managerial or supervisory experience in the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front of House and Back of House operations as assigned by General Manager.
• Interview, train and coach front-of-house coworkers.
• Prepare and manage related fiscal processes.
• Create and adjust coworker schedules; provide leadership by example.
• Cover serving and bartending shifts and resolve guest concerns.
• Manage large party bookings, events and company specials.
• Ensure outstanding guest engagement and quality plate presentation.
