Job summary

134 State College Inc is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to work closely with the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations—hiring, training, scheduling, and ensuring quality food presentation and outstanding guest experiences.

You will oversee Front of House and Back of House operations, interview and coach staff, set performance standards, handle guest concerns, and help drive the company’s rapid growth across its 10-state footprint.

Qualifications

• Two years of bartending or serving experience in full-menu restaurants.
• At least one year of managerial or supervisory experience in the restaurant industry.
• Desire to grow as a leader and to daily be better than you were yesterday.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front of House and Back of House operations as directed by GM.
• Interview, train and coach Front of House staff.
• Complete related fiscal management processes.
• Assist in developing co-worker schedules.
• Provide leadership and be a role model for all staff.
• Serve and/or bartend shifts as needed.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Oversee large party bookings, events and specials.
• Ensure outstanding guest engagement and plate presentation.
• Set high performance expectations and uphold policies.
