Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help oversee daily restaurant operations in Rio Grande City, TX. You will work closely with the General Manager to provide friendly, personalized service and maintain clean, inviting conditions for guests.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, team players who lead by example, with at least 1 year of assistant management experience in high-volume food service and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service (preferred).
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation access.
• Demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Support General Manager in daily restaurant operations.
• Oversee daily operations and financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules; interview, hire, and train team.
• Coach, counsel, and develop staff; maintain team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance, and safety standards.
