Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to assist with daily restaurant operations and deliver friendly, personalized service with great food in a clean, inviting setting. The role reports to the General Manager and collaborates with the District Manager and team to uphold standards.

The position requires leadership, customer service focus, and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience, preferably in high-volume food service
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Valid driver’s license and access to transportation
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem solving, decision making and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant daily operations under the General Manager
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Interview, hire, train and orient new staff
• Coach, counsel and develop team and foster positive relations
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
• Ensure health and safety standards are met
• Set a welcoming, family-friendly tone in the restaurant
