Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Boston to lead daily restaurant operations, working closely with the General Manager and Area Leader to execute plans, drive profitability, and develop Team Members. You will focus on scheduling, forecasting, labor management, and inventory to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of supervisory restaurant experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant/hospitality.
• Proven leadership and team-management capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate staff.
• Track record of delivering excellent guest service.
• Ability to manage budgets, scheduling, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to food quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and cost control to protect profitability.
• Supervise Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Support scheduling, staffing, and conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
