Job summary

Papa John’s is seeking a shift manager to oversee restaurant operations in a high-volume setting. You will manage hiring, onboarding, training, and performance, ensuring daily quality and customer service standards are met.

In this role you’ll supervise restaurant team members and delivery drivers, step in during the General Manager's absence, and coach staff to exceed customer expectations while maintaining compliance with safety and cash procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a restaurant team and delivery drivers.
• Ability to recruit, train, and coach staff to meet performance standards.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality products by enforcing Papa John's standards and training team members.
• Ensure food safety certifications are up to date and restaurant remains clean and compliant.
• Supervise shift activities and manage staffing to align with sales expectations.
• In GM's absence, run the restaurant and ensure high quality service and proper disciplinary actions.
• Contribute to sales goals through prompt and friendly customer service and product knowledge.
• Oversee cash controls and shift-level financial processes.
