Job summary

Logan's Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Roseville, MI to lead daily operations and drive sales and profitability. You will supervise hourly team members, hire and train staff, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of restaurant management experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. A college degree is preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum two years restaurant management experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must possess proper food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications.
• Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor in difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Model hospitality through 100% table visits.
• Effectively handle guest complaints.
• Assist marketing techniques and research to attract new guests.
• Build positive, professional relationships with community members.
• Assist with staffing needs to maintain proper staffing; review applications, interview candidates, and training.
• Plan and lead shift meetings and solicit feedback from team members.
• Provide performance feedback and development goals to hourly team members.
• Ensure proper submission and documentation of injuries and incidents.
• Communicate employee relations issues to HR.
• Manage shifts to achieve sales and profit goals and control labor costs.
• Complete administrative manager functions and transactions.
• Ensure adherence to SERV Safe Alcohol, Food, OSHA, and HACCP standards.
• Ensure PCI compliance for all credit card documents.
• Conduct time punch audits and corrections.
• Assist with rollouts of new programs, policies, and procedures.
• Unload vendor trucks, receive and rotate inventory.
• Monitor food/beverage preparation and quality per recipes and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
