Job summary

Logan's Roadhouse in Southgate, MI is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a single Logan's restaurant, driving sales, controlling costs, and maintaining safety and quality standards. You will hire and train managers and hourly staff, plan shifts, coach performance, ensure compliance with ServSafe, HACCP, OSHA, and PCI, and oversee cash handling and vendor relations.

This role requires at least 2 years of restaurant management, strong communication, and a college degree preferred;

Qualifications

• Two years restaurant management experience required.
• College degree preferred or equivalent in experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Energetic and flexible.
• Calm, tactful demeanor in difficult situations.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Forms strong working relationships within team.
• Must possess food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Visit guests at tables to model hospitality and ensure satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints effectively and promptly.
• Assist with staffing, interviewing, and training of team members.
• Plan and lead shift meetings; solicit feedback.
• Provide performance feedback and development goals to hourly staff.
• Oversee safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance (ServSafe/OSHA/HACCP).
• Manage shifts to achieve sales and profit goals; monitor cost of sales.
• Oversee cash handling, deposits, and bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor food/beverage quality and adherence to recipes.
• Other duties as assigned.
