Job summary

Ruby Tuesday is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to oversee daily operations and lead both Front of House and Back of House teams. You will train staff, manage schedules, and ensure excellent guest service while maintaining profitability.

The AGM serves as a primary on-site management contact, addressing customer needs and enforcing company standards. The role requires strong communication, decision-making and leadership; candidates should have 2+ years of restaurant management

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of hands-on restaurant management experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise and direct all hourly employees, including scheduling and time off.
• Lead shifts as the management representative, conduct performance evaluations, coaching and corrective actions.
• Oversee kitchen and service team to ensure high-quality dining and customer service.
• Drive sales and guest satisfaction while controlling food costs and inventory levels.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and compliance with policies and health regulations.
