Job summary

Ruby Tuesday Salisbury, MD is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, supervise hourly staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

You will train teams, manage schedules, drive sales, control costs, and uphold food safety and service standards. The AGM acts as on-site leadership when managers are unavailable, making timely decisions to satisfy customers and maintain profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or High School equivalency required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Prefer 2 years of hands-on restaurant management experience.
• ServSafe Certified preferred or able to obtain certification prior to completion of training.
• Valid Driver's License
• Commitment to excellence in friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise and direct all hourly employees daily.
• Conduct periodic performance evaluations and coach staff.
• Monitor kitchen operations and address issues promptly.
• Set schedules and assign tasks for restaurant hours.
• Drive sales and guest satisfaction; manage costs and health ratings.
• Maintain high food quality via cleanliness and storage.
• Ensure CHARM Service Model is followed by all staff.
• Oversee training for Front and Back of House on policies.
• Supervise production and preparation of food and beverages.
• Resolve guest recovery situations with discretion.
• Follow Operations Playbook and address non-compliance.
• Communicate shift notes and needs using the manager logbook.
• Enforce safety measures for staff and guests.
• Manage costs including inventory, supplies, liquor.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and safe.
• Lead process: line checks, thawing, inventory, etc.
• Coach staff to meet Ruby Tuesday recipe specs.
• Maintain food safety certificates and renew as needed.
• Lead new product / menu rollouts with initiative.
