The Lookout in Memphis, TN is seeking a Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager and AGM in daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and staff leadership.

You will manage inventory, scheduling, food quality, safety compliance, and community engagement while coaching the team to deliver outstanding dining experiences. This role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and a professional image with opportunities to impact local promotions and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-service restaurant experience in a leadership role.
• Ability to inspire cooperation and teamwork through self-confidence, positive attitude, and enthusiasm.
• Excellent interpersonal/listening/communication skills.
• Excellent problem resolution/guest recovery skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Experience with basic computer technology (POS systems, Microsoft Office).
• ServSafe certified.
• Strong commitment to serving others in the community.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM and AGM in day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Assist with inventory, purchasing, receiving, and storage of company-specified products.
• Ensure high standards of food quality and service.
• Maintain building, equipment, furniture, and fixtures in good repair and regularly maintained.
• Schedule FOH and BOH staff to ensure adequate coverage and labor budget.
• Coach/mentor employees to reinforce positive behaviors and development opportunities.
• Provide exceptional customer service and promptly address guest complaints.
• Develop and implement local marketing initiatives and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with health codes and safety standards.
