Job summary

Lettuce Entertain You is seeking a Restaurant Manager in Chicago with 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service setting. You will oversee daily operations and lead service alongside our front of house teams.

Responsibilities include managing shifts, supervising staff, driving guest satisfaction, and supporting the GM to control costs and grow the business. Must be willing to work varied shifts at multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Skilled in developing guest rapport.
• Skilled in leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shifts and manage restaurant operations; supervise pre-shift meetings and closing duties, including labor and nightly numbers.
• Oversee opening/closing shifts to ensure guest and employee experience.
• Give guidance to hourly and management teams, fostering our Culture of Caring.
• Handle guest, vendor, and staff issues with tact and courtesy.
• Assist GM in managing costs, driving sales, and growing the business.
• Partner with GM to interview, hire, onboard, train, supervise, and develop BOH staff.
• Perform inventories, track high-cost items, order supplies, and inspect deliveries.
• Model and promote teamwork across all teams.
• Work varied shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, at multiple sites.
• Move and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
