Beatrix locations in Chicago are hiring a Restaurant Manager with 2+ years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment. You will oversee daily operations, lead service with front-of-house teams, and drive guest satisfaction while managing costs and staff development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and oversee line, temperature and cooler checks; supervise closing duties and nightly numbers.
• Organize opening/closing shifts and ensure exceptional guest and employee experience.
• Guide hourly and management teams while fostering our Culture of Caring.
• Respond to guest and employee needs and feedback promptly.
• Assist GM in managing costs, driving sales and achieving financial goals.
• Interview, hire, onboard, train, and develop BOH employees as needed.
• Perform inventories and manage supply orders and deliveries.
• Model teamwork across all teams and adapt to challenging situations with professionalism.
• Work varied shifts including mornings, nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Run shifts and direct daily restaurant operations.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and oversee line, temp, and cooler checks; close duties including safekeeping and nightly numbers.
• Organize smooth opening and closing shifts to ensure excellent guest and employee experiences.
• Provide guidance to hourly and management teams while upholding our Culture of Caring.
• Respond promptly to guest and employee needs and feedback.
• Assist GM in cost control, sales growth and financial goals.
• Interview, hire, onboard, train and develop BOH staff as required.
• Conduct inventories, place orders, and inspect deliveries.
• Promote teamwork across departments and handle guest/vendor/employee challenges tactfully.
• Flex shifts across sites including travel as needed.
