Happy Camper in Chicago, IL is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily FOH operations, hire and train staff, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations. Hours run from 9am to 4am, seven days a week, with relocation assistance available for Midwest applicants moving to Chicago.

The role requires strong leadership and excellent communication. You will manage Toast POS and OpenTable, oversee menus and delivery orders, coordinate scheduling

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service focus.
• Outstanding time management and organization.
• Problem solving and decision making skills.
• Able to communicate clearly and listen actively.
• Able to stand long hours and lift trays safely.
• ServSafe Manager Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train staff.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and resolve complaints.
• Manage staff scheduling with HotSchedules.
• Handle POS systems (Toast POS) and OpenTable.
• Oversee menus and delivery platforms (Doordash, UberEats, Grubhub).
• Coordinate invoicing and payroll with HR and accounting.
• Conduct daily health inspections and ensure food handling compliance.
• Maintain liquor inventory and compliance with regulations.
• Quality control and equipment checks.
