Job summary

You will oversee shifts, train staff, ensure safety and sanitation, manage scheduling and payroll, and drive performance with a focus on hospitality and operational excellence.

The role requires 1–3 years in restaurant management, strong leadership, and solid communication. This is a busy, customer-focused environment with a commitment to teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Restaurant Management in a high-volume setting.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, scheduling, sanitation and food quality.
• Ability to lead, coach, and drive excellence at all levels.
• English fluency for communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Model operational standards and execute critical behaviors to run great shifts and make lifelong memories for guests and team.
• Motivate and manage team members to provide highest level of hospitality.
• Demonstrate leadership with coaching and achieving excellence.
• Foster team engagement through recognition and communication.
• Ensure sanitation, food and restaurant safety compliance.
• Train Portillo's team members on restaurant operations.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and build connections.
• Plan shift planning, scheduling, training, daily routines, opening/closing and cash handling.
• Plan inventory, budget and labor decisions.
