Job summary

Journeyman Distillery’s Staymaker restaurant seeks a Restaurant Manager to lead front-of-house operations, drive guest experiences, and manage budgets. You will supervise FOH staff, partner with culinary and events teams, and uphold Journeyman’s hospitality standards in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.

You will supervise hiring, training, and daily pre-shift operations, with emphasis on sales growth, guest satisfaction, safety, and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience managing restaurant operations and budgets.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Ability to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
• Experience interviewing, hiring, and training FOH staff.
• Familiarity with safety, sanitation, and SOP adherence.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure a high-quality guest experience.
• Oversee budgeting, P&L, and cost controls across FOH.
• Recruit, train, and develop hourly staff and Managers; schedule optimization.
• Lead by example in service quality, guest relations, and standards.
• Coordinate with Kitchen and Events teams to drive performance.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with procedures.
