Job summary

ANCHOR POINT MANAGEMENT GROUP is seeking a Restaurant General Manager for a Taco Bell unit in Escalon, CA. You will oversee daily operations, training, guest service, and profitability, ensuring cleanliness, hospitality, and high product quality.

You will lead staffing, scheduling, evaluating performance, and maintaining compliance with all laws while driving guest satisfaction and efficient service. This role is based on-site at the Escalon unit.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong preference for internal promotion after completing required training.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role, preferably in a service-related business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good hygiene and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage finances and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Control costs across food, labor, cash and other expenses per guidelines.
• Drive sales growth by improving service speed, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain adequate staffing for all days/parts.
• Conduct performance appraisals for crew, shift managers, and asst. general managers.
• Hire new crew, shift leaders, and assistant GMs.
• Coach and train staff to meet certification and performance standards.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and comply with sanitation regulations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and safety standards.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and report needs.
• Provide timely feedback to area coach on operating results.
• Manage turnover through effective hiring and training.
• Prepare food when needed and handle cash register duties.
