Job summary

IHOP is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee operations with a strong focus on profitability and guest satisfaction. The role requires supervising staff, executing SOPs, and maintaining high quality service across front and back of house at our Flint location.

Responsibilities include staff recruitment, training, guest relations, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Availability for days, nights, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must supervise restaurant staff, recruit and train employees.
• Strong focus on profitability, sales growth, and service standards.
• Ability to manage front- and back-of-house operations and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute annual financial and marketing objectives per SOP and plans.
• Maintain relations with hourly employees and the franchisee organization.
• Manage restaurant floor and interact with guests regularly.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and timely.
• Oversee recruitment, training, workflow, performance reviews, and discipline.
• Complete required reports and maintain personnel files.
• Be available to work days, nights and weekends.
