Job summary

IHOP is seeking an Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, drive profitability, and uphold IHOP standards of quality and service. You will supervise staff, manage guest interactions, and ensure smooth front- and back-of-house workflows.

Key responsibilities include achieving financial and marketing objectives, maintaining safety and sanitation, and nurturing staff development. This role requires flexibility to work days, nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and read English and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions; write routine reports and correspondence; present to groups.
• Basic computer skills including Email, MS Excel, MS Word is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and HR objectives per IHOP SOPs and operations plan.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with hourly staff and franchisee organization.
• Manage restaurant floor with frequent guest contact.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly to keep complaint frequency low.
• Ensure recruitment, training, operations, food safety, sanitation, and security comply with SOPs.
• Carry out supervisory duties including recruitment, training, directing workflow, evaluating performance, and resolving issues.
• Complete all required reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain personnel files with employment and legal documents.
• Available to work days, nights and weekends.
