Responsibilities include:

Communicating all kitchen issues with management throughout the day
Reading and writing notes in the manager’s daily log in English
Attending weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
Reading the weekly memo
Completing weekly/monthly employee evaluations
Communicating with all m.o.d. when shift is completed
Providing honest reports of events, both positive and negative
Complying with all policies, rules, and directions in manuals, memos, and meetings
Attending quarterly supervisor meetings
Having current food management certification
Demonstrating an ownership mentality
Having flexibility for scheduling, as Flanigan’s is open 365 days per year
Willingness to transfer to different locations
Possessing a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Scheduling vacations between April and November; must take or forfeit
Ordering and formulating pars
Basic math skills: counting currency, using a calculator
Basic computer skills
Understanding health code standards
Conducting timely interviews and issuing performance evaluations
Seeing, speaking clearly, listening, tasting, and smelling
Reading and writing in English
Standing, moving at a moderate pace for up to 4 hours, working 50-55 hours per week
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Bending, stooping, squatting, or crawling
Operating kitchen equipment with coordination
Adhering to dress and grooming policies
