Responsibilities

Communicate all kitchen issues with management throughout the day.
Read and write notes in English in the manager’s daily log.
Attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings.
Read the weekly memo.
Complete weekly/monthly employee evaluations.
Communicate with all managers on duty at shift completion.
Provide accurate, honest reports of all events, positive and negative.
Comply with all policies, rules, and directions from manuals, memos, and meetings.
Attend quarterly supervisor meetings.
Maintain current food management certification.
Demonstrate ownership mentality.
Be flexible with scheduling; Flanigan’s operates 365 days/year.
Willingness to transfer geographically.
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Schedule vacations between April and November; must take or forfeit.
Order supplies and formulate pars.
Have basic math and computer skills.
Understand and uphold health code standards.
Conduct timely interviews and issue performance evaluations.
Be able to see, hear, speak clearly, and taste and smell.
Read and write English proficiently.
Stand and move about for up to 4 hours; work 50-55 hours/week.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Perform bending, stooping, squatting, or crawling.
Operate kitchen equipment with coordination.
Adhere to dress and grooming policies.
