Job summary

Vinason-Pho-Kitchen in Seattle's SoDo district seeks an energetic Restaurant Manager to lead daily FOH and BOH operations, supervise staff, and ensure a seamless dining and taproom experience.

You will plan game-day staffing, monitor food safety, manage inventory and costs, and oversee the self-pour tap system while complying with liquor laws.

This high-volume, fast-paced role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and event days.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of supervisory or management experience in high-volume fast-casual, sports bar, or full-service restaurants.
  • Game day readiness for high-stress, rapid-turnover environments during sports seasons.
  • Washington State Food Worker Card and MAST Permit required.
  • Excellent communication, team motivation, conflict resolution, and POS proficiency.
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and game/event days.

Responsibilities

  • Direct shift operations and enforce guest service standards.
  • Plan staffing, prep lists, and inventory strategies for large events.
  • Maintain consistency across menu items and food safety practices.
  • Oversee tap system and keg management.
  • Ensure liquor law compliance and proper sanitation.
  • Address customer feedback and build guest relationships.
  • Manage stock levels of ingredients and packaging.
  • Oversee POS, end-of-shift reports, and labor costs.

Position Overview

We are looking for an energetic, organized, and hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our SoDo location. In this role, you will oversee front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) staff, manage game-day rushes, uphold strict food safety standards, and ensure every guest enjoys a seamless dining and taproom experience.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Team Leadership
  • Daily Management: Direct shift operations, opening/closing procedures, floor coverage, and guest service standard enforcement.
  • Game Day & Peak Hours Preparation: Plan staffing schedules, prep lists, and inventory strategies to handle large stadium crowds before and after local sports events and concerts.
Food Quality & Beverage Operations
  • Quality Control: Maintain consistency and high standards across all menu items, including our 24-hour broths, banh mi, and signature wings.
  • Self-Pour Tap System Oversight: Monitor tap wall operations, troubleshoot pouring systems, manage keg inventory, and uphold local liquor law compliance.
  • Health & Safety: Enforce local health department regulations, food safety protocols, proper sanitation, and allergen awareness procedures.
Guest Experience & Administration
  • Customer Service: Address customer feedback promptly, resolve issues on the floor, and build strong relationships with local guests and stadium visitors.
  • Inventory & Ordering: Manage stock levels for fresh ingredients, dry goods, beverages, and takeout packaging to minimize waste while ensuring peak-hour readiness.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage POS systems, end-of-shift reporting, labor cost targets, and cash handling procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 1+ years of supervisory or management experience in high-volume fast-casual, sports bar, or full-service restaurant environments.
  • Game Day Ready: Ability to excel in high-stress, rapid-turnover environments during sports seasons (Mariners, Seahawks, Sounders, etc.).
  • Certifications: Valid Washington State Food Worker Card and MAST Permit required.
  • Skills: Strong communication, team motivation, conflict resolution, and basic computer/POS software proficiency.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and game/event days.
