Job summary

Stanford's Restaurant and Bar in Seattle, WA is seeking a dynamic Floor Manager for a part-time hourly position in the Northgate area. You will lead the Front of House team in a fast-paced environment, ensure exceptional hospitality, and support daily operations to deliver unforgettable dining experiences.

The role requires 1–2 years of supervisory experience, a Food Handler's permit, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. Competitive benefits for part-time staff are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years related supervisory experience.
• Must have a Food Handler's permit.
• MAST certification preferred/required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the Front of House staff and daily operations.
• Assist management with training new employees.
• Monitor dining area for cleanliness, setup, and safety standards.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Address customer complaints and emergencies with prompt, courteous resolution.
• Maintain strong floor presence to support FOH and BOH teams.

Pay Rate: $25-$30 per hour DOE

Requirements

• Helps manage the FOH staff including directing work, addressing concerns, and holding staff accountable.
• Assists management with training new employee
• Monitors the dining area to ensure cleanliness, proper setup, and adherence to health and safety standards
• Oversees the opening and closing procedures, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Handles customer complaints, conflicts, and emergencies, making quick decisions to resolve issues.
• Ensures all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Maintains an extensive floor presence to support the FOH and BOH staff.
• Fills in where needed to ensure guest service standards are met and operations run efficiently.
• Performs any and all other duties as assigned.
