Job summary

Stanford's Restaurant and Bar in Seattle, WA seeks a dynamic Floor Manager to join our team in the Northgate area. This part-time hourly role focuses on leading the FOH staff, directing work, and delivering exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced dining room.

You will train new staff, ensure health & safety standards, manage opening/closing procedures, handle guest concerns, and maintain a strong floor presence to support both FOH and BOH teams.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related supervisory experience.
• Food Handler's permit.
• MAST.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Helps manage the FOH staff including directing work, addressing concerns, and holding staff accountable.
• Assists management with training new employee.
• Monitors the dining area to ensure cleanliness, proper setup, and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Oversees the opening and closing procedures, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Handles customer complaints, conflicts, and emergencies, making quick decisions to resolve issues.
• Ensures all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Maintains an extensive floor presence to support the FOH and BOH staff.
• Fills in where needed to ensure guest service standards are met and operations run efficiently.
• Performs any and all other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $25-$30 per hour DOE
