ZaZu Mediterranean Street Food in Midtown Manhattan is seeking an experienced Manager to join our busy, high-volume restaurant. You’ll supervise and support team members during service, maintain high standards of guest service, handle guest concerns promptly, and coordinate with staff to ensure efficient, safe, and smooth operations from opening to closing.

The ideal candidate is energetic, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving

Qualifications

• Must have a Food Protection Certificate.
• Prior experience as a restaurant manager or similar FOH leadership role.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our busy, high-volume restaurant in Midtown Manhattan. The ideal candidate is energetic, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, managing staff, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities: • Supervise and support team members during service • Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly • Coordinate with staff to ensure efficient service • Oversee all procedures and ensure smooth end-of-night operations

Requirements: Must have a Food Protection Certificate. • Prior experience as a restaurant manager, or similar FOH leadership role • Strong leadership and communication skills • Ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism • Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

This role requires overseeing daily operations, improving profitability, and maintaining safety standards. Key requirements include 3+ years of management experience, strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

Act as an ambassador for the restaurant and engage our guests while taking note of their likes and dislikes.

Be punctual and arrive to the restaurant at the appropriate time.

Perform all duties relating to the opening and closing of the restaurant, leading by example.

Ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness are achieved and that furnishings and equipment are maintained, providing a safe, clean and pleasant environment for all.

Use communication skills constantly both with guests and teammates. .

Handle all guest complaints and follow through until full guest satisfaction is achieved.
