We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in kitchen management, team management, and shift management. Duties
- Manage the kitchen and restaurant operations to ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and service.
- Oversee kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and line staff, to ensure proper food preparation and plating.
- Supervise the restaurant's inventory control system to maintain optimal levels of stock and minimize waste.
- Manage staff scheduling and shift management to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Coordinate and execute banquets, catering events, and other special functions.
- Train and develop restaurant staff, providing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
- Monitor restaurant performance, including sales, profit, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Manage the restaurant's point-of-sale (POS) system to ensure accurate and efficient transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and accounting, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the food industry, preferably as a restaurant manager.
- Proven experience in kitchen management, team management, and shift management.
- Strong background in culinary arts, with knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with inventory control and POS systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality or culinary arts is preferred.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
