Job summary

Tony C’s Coal Fired Pizza in Austin is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead front of house and back of house operations, ensuring guest service and food quality. You will work with the AM team to uphold standards and mentor staff.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar role, familiarity with Aloha or Toast, strong math and reporting, and willingness to work openings, weekends, and holidays. Starting salary $55k–$60k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar role in hospitality.
• Experience with restaurant management software such as Aloha or Toast.
• Strong math and reporting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to lead and develop a team, including scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FOH and BOH operations to ensure guest service and food quality.
• Manage opening hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Control costs and drive employee retention.
• Lead and mentor restaurant staff as part of the AM team.

RESTAURANT MANAGERS

As one of our restaurant leaders, you will oversee FOH & BOH operations to ensure guest service & food quality standards are upheld at all times.

To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes a great customer service. You should also be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar experience in the hospitality industry preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Aloha/Toast
• Good math and reporting skills
• Customer service attitude
• Communication and team management abilities
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
• High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus
