Job summary
Wendy's is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventative maintenance across our restaurant equipment and building systems. The role requires diagnosing and repairing fryers, grills, walk-ins, ice machines, ovens, and related electrical, HVAC, and plumbing components.
Independent work style and strong troubleshooting are essential. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years in restaurant equipment repairs, a high school diploma or equivalent, and EPA/CFESA
Qualifications
- Experience with repairing a wide range of restaurant equipment and building systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience in electrical, heating, HVAC/Refrigeration, plumbing, and general repairs.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize and complete repairs of restaurant equipment in a timely fashion.
- Repair and perform preventative maintenance on fryers, grills, walk-in freezers, ice machines, ovens, etc.
- Respond to emergency service calls for repair.
- Develop a work schedule to minimize impact on customer service.
- Inspect and diagnose malfunctions in restaurant equipment.
- Estimate time and cost of repairs.
