Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs at our restaurants. The ideal candidate is organized, can work independently, and has experience with repairing a wide range of restaurant equipment, electrical, heating, HVAC, plumbing, and general building systems.

Responsibilities include repairs, preventative maintenance, emergency service response, and cost/time estimates. A valid driver's license and CFESA/EPA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience repairing restaurant equipment.
• Ability to service fryers, grills, walk-in freezers/coolers, ice machines, ovens, and related systems.
• Capable of independent work and diagnosing standard malfunctions.
• Proficient reading of manuals, schematics, and equipment specs.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and complete needed equipment repairs promptly.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on a wide range of restaurant equipment and systems.
• Respond to emergency service calls for repair.
• Help implement preventive maintenance procedures defined by the company.
• Develop a work schedule to minimize disruption to customers and operations.
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions in restaurant equipment.
• Estimate time, cost of repairs, and equipment costs.
