Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs across our restaurant network. You will diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment including fryers, grills, walk-in freezers, ice machines, and associated electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

The role requires independent work, strong troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver's license. Experience with EPA/commercial certifications is preferred, with a track record of safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• EPA certification or equivalent preferred; related hands-on experience in service industry appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and complete needed equipment repairs as they occur in a timely fashion.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment including fryers, grills, walk-in units, ice machines, ovens, etc.
• Respond to emergency service calls for repair and restore operations promptly.
• Develop and follow preventive maintenance procedures as defined by company.
• Create work schedules to minimize impact on customer service and restaurant operations.
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions in restaurant equipment and estimate repair time and cost.
