Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs across our restaurant facilities. The role requires organizing, independent work, and experience with a wide range of equipment including fryers, grills, walk-in freezers, ice machines, ovens, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies while prioritizing minimal disruption to service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in restaurant equipment repairs.
• Experience repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment is required.
• Must be able to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and complete equipment repairs in a timely fashion.
• Repair and perform preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment and systems.
• Respond to emergency service calls for repair.
• Implement preventive maintenance procedures per company guidelines.
• Develop a work schedule to minimize impact on operations.
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions in restaurant equipment.
• Estimate time and cost of repairs and equipment parts.
