Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our nationwide operations to service restaurant equipment and perform repairs across fryers, grills, walk-ins, ice machines, ovens, and related systems. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and preventative maintenance, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in restaurant equipment repairs.
• Experience with fryers, grills, walk-in freezers/coolers, ice machines, ovens.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical plans.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and complete needed equipment repairs as they occur.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment (Fryers, Grills, Walk-in-Freezers/Coolers, Ice Machines, Ovens) and associated electrical/heating/HVAC/plumbing systems.
• Respond to emergency service calls for repair.
• Develop and follow a work schedule to minimize impact on operations.
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions in restaurant equipment.
• Estimate time and cost of repairs and equipment parts.
