Job summary

Leeann Chin, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Training at multiple Minnesota locations.

This development role prepares candidates for promotion within 6-12 months, based on performance, training completion, leadership readiness, and business needs, supporting the General Manager in daily operations. You will lead a team, drive guest experience, food safety, and sales initiatives while upholding brand standards and company policies, with hands-on coaching and development

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe Certification required or must be obtained within policy timeframe.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
• Experience supervising hourly employees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant operations to ensure quality execution.
• Assist GM with opening, shift management, and closing.
• Monitor performance against sales, labor, food cost, guest satisfaction.
• Help implement company initiatives and procedures.
• Review results with GM and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support local store marketing and sales growth.
• Supervise and coach hourly team members.
• Recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of team.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards; ensure ServSafe compliance.
