Job summary

Quality Dining, Inc. is seeking a Technical Services Analyst to provide first-level IT support to restaurant managers and staff, including end-user support via phone and on-site assistance in our locations.

The role requires troubleshooting hardware and software (Windows, Office, Micros and Aloha POS), documentation of issues, and the ability to work in-office and in-restaurant settings, with on-call after hours.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills
• Expertise in troubleshooting software, hardware, and basic network problems
• Ability to grasp business issues and translate to technical terms in course of problem resolution
• High level of problem solving capabilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Team orientation

Responsibilities

• End user support via phone communications.
• Support MS Windows and Office, Micros and Aloha Point-of-Sale hardware and RES software and proprietary applications.
• Familiarity with remote control software.
• Document trouble calls and provide timely responses to issues requiring efficient problem solving.
• Be reliable and willing to work in office and restaurant environment
• Identify and escalate cases to the appropriate support group.
• Occasionally complete clerical work and perform on-site tasks in-restaurant.
• Be physically capable to perform tasks necessary to support this position.
• Schedule: variable depending on business needs and after-hours on-call responsibilities.
