Job summary

Slim Chickens is seeking a Director of IT Restaurant Systems in Fayetteville to shape the IT strategy and roadmap for restaurant technology. Youll lead core technology projects end-to-end, oversee POS, Back Office, and related systems, and manage a small IT team to support franchise locations and corporate needs.

The role requires strategic leadership, project execution excellence, and budget oversight, with emphasis on PCI compliance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in MIS or related field.
• Proven ability to define business needs and select/install appropriate technology solutions.
• 5+ years in the food and beverage industry; management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT strategy and roadmap for restaurant technology, coordinating major initiatives.
• Manage end-to-end IT projects from concept to post-deployment support.
• Oversee POS and Back Office technology implementations with minimal disruption.
• Lead IT Support Analyst team (2 FTEs) for POS and Back Office systems.
• Manage the IT budget and provide training to staff.
