Job summary

Slim Chickens is hiring a Director, IT Restaurant Systems to set the IT strategy for restaurant tech, lead major projects, and manage day-to-day support across POS and back-office systems. You will oversee a small IT team, manage budgets, and partner with franchises to deliver reliable technology.

Role requires MIS/tech degree, 5+ years in F&B, strong project management, and vendor/ security expertise. Travel to sites may be required. This is a Growth-oriented, on-site leadership role.

Qualifications

• Degree in MIS or another technology major, or equivalent training and experience.
• 5+ years in the food and beverage industry; management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to define business needs and select/install appropriate technology solutions.
• Broad technology knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Proven ability to provide strong internal customer service.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain a reliable network with strong data security.
• Proven ability to work with a team to solve unique business problems with technology.

Responsibilities

• Leads the IT strategy and roadmap for restaurant technology and projects.
• Oversees day-to-day support and management of POS, BOH, and related systems.
• Manages IT budget and vendor relationships.
• Leads IT Support Analyst team (2 FTEs) and ensures PCI compliance.
• Coordinates IT resources for new openings, remodels, and expansions.
• Maintains project management tools and AI licenses for enterprise use.

Bachelor's degree in MIS or related field
