Job summary

Ambrosia QSR is seeking a General Manager for its Portland, OR location. This full-time role oversees guest service, staff engagement, and profitability, driving guest satisfaction and adherence to food safety and company policies.

The GM leads the team during peak hours, sets goals and timelines, mentors staff, and ensures performance targets are met through effective leadership and accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Serv Safe training & certificate.
• Prior experience with a POS System.
• 2 years of hands-on food or retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and development opportunities for the management team and staff.
• Recruit, train, and develop restaurant management and staff to meet goals.
• Schedule regular team and manager meetings to communicate effectively.
• Enforce company policies, ensure compliance with laws and local regulations, maintain employee records.
• Oversee food safety and other safety protocols, ensuring postings are visible and displayed.
• Manage labor costs by creating accurate sales projections and balanced schedules.
