Job summary

TravelCenters of America is hiring a Restaurant General Manager overseeing operations and marketing at our quick-service restaurant locations. You will staff, train, supervise, and drive profitability while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

We seek a servant leader with 3+ years of supervisory experience in fast food, strong communication, and a track record of team development. Strong MS Office and POS skills are required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) required; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in the fast-food industry preferred.
• Proficient planning and analytical skills (P&L, coverage ratio, budget/expense reports).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; POS software experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the restaurant team to meet performance standards and profitability.
• Coach and manage staff according to company policy.
• Serve customers courteously with a positive attitude.
• Provide quality food and a clean restaurant environment.
• Recruit, hire, train and retain high-quality team members.
• Manage revenue, product, service and facility processes to meet financial goals.
• Oversee payroll, accounting, inventory and documentation for compliance.
• Follow safety standards and vendor guidelines.
• Monitor competitive practices and advise leadership.
• Serve as acting hourly associate when needed.
