Job summary

Wingstop in Durham is hiring a General Manager to lead our restaurant’s strategy and operations. This leader will drive guest satisfaction, manage costs, and grow sales while developing Team Members and ensuring Wingstop’s mission is lived daily.

The General Manager will hire, train and coach staff, manage onboarding and schedules, and communicate across the organization to ensure a high performing team and a safe, welcoming environment for guests and crew.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant teams and guest service initiatives.
• Ability to hire, train and develop team members.
• Proven track record in achieving sales and cost control targets.

Responsibilities

• Staff the restaurant timely with carefully selected team.
• Ensure a safe restaurant environment for staff and guests.
• Oversee orientation and onboarding to ensure proper execution.
• Develop and monitor shift leader development and performance plans.
• Make final hire and separation decisions with proper procedures.
• Create staff schedules balancing staffing, payroll and overtime costs.
• Own the performance of the entire team.
• Foster a culture of respect, recognition and reward.
